ESPN's College Football Spotlight for January 2 , 2009 features the Cotton Bowl and Graham Harrell breaking an NCAA record for 5000 Passing yards in multiple seasons. 11-2 was still a great season!

Graham Harrell was named the AT&T All-America Player Of The Year during the BCS Championship game on January 8, 2009. This award is determined by fan votes from all over the USA. This is the second year in a row that a Red Raider has won this award with Wide Receiver Michael Crabtree winning last year. Graham Harrell is a class act and brought great recognition to himself and Texas Tech University. Congratulations Graham Harrell on Winning another well deserved award!
